A High School for Students Seeking Sustained Recovery from Drugs and Alcohol

Recovery high schools are one of the most impactful and effective ways to support youth in drug and alcohol recovery. We combine innovative learning methods with a strong peer culture in which all students identify as being active in their recovery and committed to supporting their fellow students as they face challenges associated with early recovery.

Rise Inspire Academy is made possible through a partnership between the Inspire Charter School District and the non-profit organization Rise Recovery. The collaboration of these two programs provides an innovative approach to high school education for students in recovery.

Rise Inspire Academy provides an environment that fosters long-term sobriety while helping students prepare for future success. Our goal is to support students’ overall health and well-being by helping them navigate their first years of sober living and get back on track for success. We aim to serve all students in recovery who desire continued care in a safe and sober educational environment. Our students are a diverse group who share the common goal of being sober and obtaining a High School Diploma.

All students in San Antonio and the surrounding communities who are recovering from Substance Use Disorder shall have access to quality recovery support, education, and tools for sustained wellness.
