Skyler Deaver is a Young Adult Peer Recovery Specialist, he serves participants of all ages struggling with substance use, but his main focus is young adults 18 to 35. With a wide range of personal experience and back ground, Skyler struggled with alcohol and drugs for over 40 years before finding recovery for himself.

A transplant from a small rural country town in West Texas, Skyler is passionate about his job because it has given him the opportunity to aid individual’s growth in their recovery and that brings meaning to his life. Skyler is grateful to be able to give back to the recovery community. This is more than a job for Skyler; it is his passion.

His new life in recovery includes gardening, cooking, relaxing, enjoying traveling, and spending time with his family. A much simpler life now.
